As of right now we are doing some “behind the scenes” work. We’ve been processing paperwork for the applications and grants necessary to move forward with production.
We have a volunteer working on the Bentley house that is finishing up the flooring and electrical.
We are reaching out to contractors for assistance and additional volunteer work. One contractor has donated some tin that will cover a front porch. This truly is wonderful news because we were not sure if we’d be able to keep the porch since the roof is rotting away. This same contractor is the one that will be doing the roof work, as well as the porch, for us. They will be tearing off the old roof & replacing it with new shingles. We were able to get all the materials that he will need and we’ll have them on site, ready for use on the morning (to be determined) he and his team start work.
